Love Express

A story that breaks a gender-relationship-stereotype is always a breath of fresh air. Uchit and Shruti stayed in the same neighbourhood for many years. They met through Uchit’s cousin purely for academic purposes (he was studying MBA and she wanted his notes). Years went by and they lost touch. After a few years Shruti got back in touch with Uchit, and realised she had a crush on him. They went on drives and spoke over the phone for hours, but Uchit never realised that Shruti was more than interested. She kept dropping hints at him, giving him ‘signs’ but Uchit being the socially ignorant geek that he is, never paid heed. Eventually she had to spell it all out for him, which is when he also acknowledged his feelings for her. Moral of the story? It doesn’t matter who proposes first. If you like someone, go out there and let them know. Being in love is all that matters. ❤
